Help, MOLD???

shmusha Jun 10, 2003 01:11 PM

I searched for previous posts but it did not come up with anything. My leo laid eggs while I was out of town and they started to mold in bedding box. I wiped it off and now have them in some perlite with appropriate moisture via Albeys method. What should I do to keep mold from returning? Foot powder I saw on a post below. Any foot powder such as Gold Bonds? Is there any way to know if eggs are still alive? Thanks for the guidance.

Certainly there is chance for the eggs to still be alive, n/p. Baby powder is good to get rid of mold. Also, with perlite as substrate for bedding, rarely-never mold comes, but never say never
