Ever had this happen???

Hello all
I just had one of my females have a prolapsed bladder.I was holding her to clean her cage and all of a sudden she let out some poop, and then I noticed the prolapse. At first I thought it was a bubble of pee,but it wasnt. So i rushed her to the vet and they pushed it back in. But I am worried it is gonna happen again,or if its not back in there properly ,and her poop not come out.She gave me the stuff with saline to push it in if it happens again. Has anyone ever had this happen,if so what was you experience? Thanks Tanya

This happened in a leo I got that had an impaction. She had the impaction when I got her, so I used paper towels for her substrate, fed her small crickets (which she really wasn't interested in!) kept her warm & gave her warm soaking baths. When she passed the impacted material she prolapsed. I used a glucose solution & warm water on the area. Just be careful to keep her clean. She may prolapse again when she defecates. Mine prolapsed a couple more times but eventually healed up fine. I never used her for a breeder because I worried that it would cause problems for her but she made a great pet. Good luck.
