Housing Question input needed Please read

i am constructing some beardie cages for a friend and got the idea myself to dabbl with them would a 4x2x2 be suitable for a trio or would a4x3x2 be suitable for 1.3 jsut wondering by the way when is it condsidered safe to bred a female dragon is there a weight?

first off, yes there is a weight that is considered safe to breed at.....i wait until 300 grams, as i have others on this site do too. this is a safe weight.

a 4x2x2 is suitable for a pair....a 4x3x2 is suitable for a trio. some people consider a 4x2x2 even too small for a single adult animal....so i would say that 4x2x2 would only house a pair at max. no more. these are big lizards that need to space to move around. it's best not to house a female/male pair together year round....it causes problems. so 4x2x2 pair. 4x3x2 trio. if you are gonna house them together.

i would definately not put a tri together in that personally i think that is way to small i have my single juvie in a 5x3x3 and my breeding pair in a 9x6 enclosure
