the size of the cage will but 45 gal. but thats the floor space. 1.4 leos at most?

a 10 gallon is 10x20
2 feet by 2 feet is almost 3 times that.

so by the "floorspace of a 10 gallon tank" rule I'd have to say 3 leos max.

Lol what about them? They're foolish.

I don't know about a formula for inches of animal & floor space.
I feel that the minimum area per leo should be 10x20 inches, or 1x2 feet is even a touch better.

I'm not sure without seeing it but I'd guess 1.3 would be a good number. That would be bigger than a 20 long right and I think 3 is the max for a 20 long. I think as long as there is enough hides for each gecko to have their own space.
