I don't know if they will eat them or how healthy it would be.
Why not stick to the tried methods that work with great success?

well because i already have a mice culture going and i did not want to start up more cricket/insect cultures unless i really had to.

Glad to see you didn't take it the wrong way like some do.
Unfortunately you will not be able to feed Jacksons a dit of mice.
Not sure if your able but the newest feed item is roaches. They're many out there that don't climb and aren't expensive.
The best part is they don't smell or chirp..

Unlike the larger more aggressive species, Jackson's probably won't respond to a baby mouse very well. I tried it once and my male chewed it for 2 seconds and let it fall out of his mouth and just stared at it. Plus, that's quite a feat, trying to chew up a mouse enough to get it down. Also, it's unlikely a Jackson's would ever eat a baby mouse or other small mammal in the wild. I would stick with insects. I would give it a shot if you had a big Panther, Parson's, Oustalet's, etc. but not a Jackson's.
