Another ovulation pic

This female ovulated on the 17th of January and shed 19 days later. A bit different appearance than the previous pic. I thought the difference would be of interest.

This is also a het albino female bred to my STUD albino male that bred more than 20 times to 4 different females since November.

Funny, but the breeder male ate only mice before going off feed before this breeding season, and was never a very strong feeder. In the last 5 weeks he has taken 8 RATS totaling nearly 500 grams of rat (he was only 800 grams 6 weeks ago). The feeding response is SO STRONG! He'll lauch himself across the cage to grab even a fairly large rat. It's just that he's always been a poor feeder.

This breeding season obviously took a lot out of him!
