anyone here use parazap for their chameleons?

deuce02 Mar 02, 2004 10:54 PM

I was thinking of trying it for my Senegal's, wondering if anyone here has used it for poss. parasites and if so, how well it works. I would like to use it at least for the time that my Senegal's are in quarantine. Any input?

That sounds good, I have a veiled that hasn't been eating as much as my other veiled and he's half his size at the same age, If it increases appetite as vie heard, I may use it on my little veiled as well as my Senegal's.

Any other input? Ne one have any experience with using this with parasites?

hello,

We have used parazap extensively, and it seems to work well, especially for those who are not familiar with panacure dosages or have an animal that is hard to give an oral dosage to (pygmy leaf chameleons, frogs, newts, etc etc etc) the company recomends that you give it to them the recomended dosage for 10 consecutive feedings and it will wipe out all living parasites, and eggs. We have used it for little while, and have had few customers take in fecals and they came back clean, so it seems to do the trick. also, it has proven safe.

Hope this helps.
