I have to argue that the female pictured doesn't appear to be ovulating.
Also, your time line is a bit skewed. On average, a female will complete the "pre-egg" shed about 3 weeks following ovulation. The eggs are then deposited about 30 days following this "pre-egg" shed. Perhaps you female is entering the "pre-egg" shed cycle?
For example, one female of mine recently shed 19 days after ovulating and a second is just beginning a shed cycle after ovulating 8 days prior (see links provided on recent posts).
I'd continue breeding trials once the female completes this shed just in case we are witnessing the inverted posture of a female with enlarged follicles vs. post-ovulation eggs. If she continues to breed, then (most likely) she has not yet ovulated (although I'm not yet totally convinced that a female ball will cease breeding following ovulation- I continue breed trials this season with my females after they ovulate in order to answer this question, but other breeders have stated to me that females will not breed after ovulating).
Your rite, what I ment to say was that she had just ovulated and is currently in the process of her pre egg laying shed. Shed bred solid to a male ghost for about 3 months straight and hasent bred since the begining of january.
Thanks........
