I was watching the discovery channel a while back, and I remember that they showed a lizard shooting blood from its' eyes. I was just wondering, are Horned Lizards/Horned Toads the lizards that exhibit this neat feat.
Thanks,
John Stuart

:Yes, they are the ones. The show depicted the Texas Horned Lizard doing the deed. Other HL species also exhibit the behavior. It is a defensive behavior mainly focused at canines. Lester G. Milroy III
