hey, i saw those pics and along with everyone else, ill say what a shame that is. my male died suddenly this winter break, i had only had him since september. luckily, i did get to see that they mated at least once, and im pretty sure that he got his genes thru to the next generation, because that red female baby i have looks a lot more like him than the mom. but as for your question about where to keep the eggs, you can check out the lil blurb i wrote on the picture of my baby female in the photo gallery. i basically went to lowes or home depot and got screen patches, made a cube out of them, plopped the eggs in there in some peat moss (try not to rotate the eggs at all, this could kill them!), and kept it with the adults. i read that it was good to keep the eggs in the same conditions as the parents, which is why i decided to try the screen box. out of 4 eggs i got last year, 3 hatched and all 3 survived. just make sure you keep it with good humidity and cool temperatures, heat is baaaaaaaaaaad! ill post a picture of what my lil box looked like with the eggs in it (After they hatched) in the photo gallery.

actually, i should also mention what the online caresheets say about the eggs. there they recommend putting the eggs in moistened vermiculite, the babies will take about 100 days to hatch. i kept my enclosures in the range of 68-70 degrees. the babies are supposed to be kept on the cooler side because their tiny bodies just cant take the heat.

Thanks to all those who had time to answer.
I'm trying my best in this and hope that all of you Uroplatus breeders succeed in breeding these magnificant geckos.

Have enybody tried towel paper? Atleast there will be no mold if you use that one..
