Photo of a salmon hypo needed (more...)

H+E Stoeckl Mar 03, 2004 05:55 AM

Since Salmon hypos of the bloodline of Rich Ihle look almost identical to Boa c. sabogae it is only a question of time since the first crook will try to sell salmon hypos as Boa c. sabogae in Europe.

The first such event may already have occured.

In order to warn the people against such a fraud we would like to post a photo of a salmon hypo on our website to show the striking similarity to the people.

So if you have a photo of such an animal that you are willing to provide it for our website post it now here.

We would appreciate it! You would help preventing the people for being tricked.

It should be something like that:

Due to the reports I am hearing of persons offering Sabogae Island Boa's for sale and seeing the photo's of these boa's, which are obviously Salmon Boa's, I feel it necessary to post a couple of photo's of actual animals from the island of Sabogae. I will post these photo's in the next 1-2 days and I think you will see it is very obvious that there is a huge difference between these animals.

Thank you,
Rich Ihle

And,good luck! there are those that can't see, and, there are those who "refuse" to see...those are always much harder to work with.My theory is,that the thickness of the skull prevents adequate amounts of "the light" from reaching key portions of the common sense regions of the brain...I'm going to attempt to somewhat prove near genetic compatability,I hear it only takes ONE breeding! it's grounbreaking stuff man! *lol*

BTW-the current and last season of Survivor was filmed entirely on the Pearl Islands, off the coast of Panama. Just about every episode includes a brief shot of a snake. Last week is was a tree boa (Corallus), the week before it was a B.c. sabogae (I think). Last season, Rupert (big hairy guy) found and caught a neonate (B. c. sabogae) on the beach actually swimming around in the surf. He kept is for a few days until it unfortunately died.
Anyhow, watch upcoming episodes for shots of B.c. sabogae (I think).

... you are right, I would be a fool to use it.
I am opposed to morphs as you know but regarded only by the appearence this is a fantastic looking boa!
