Timber rattlers in Connecticut

Hi,
This spring i was going to try to find a site to photograph timbers in my home state of Connecticut. I know the is a den site in Glastnbury (east of the river) and i have heard there are multiple den sites in the western part of the state, andi was wondering if anyone could recomend a good area to to hopfuly find one of these great creatures. thanks in advance...Ben
