Green and Golden Bell and Goliath Frogs

bell3frog Mar 03, 2004 01:16 PM

I have been trying for ages to get some Australian Green and Golden Bell Frogs Litoria aurea. I am a herp from Australia and have worked in the past on the Green and Golden Bell Frog in Australia and have been very successful breeding them. I am working in the USA and would like to try breeding them while I am over. Also has anybody any idea where I could get some African Goliath Frogs.

Thanks

Good luck finding the goliath frog. They are very rarely seen, and even when someone claims to have one, it normally isn't. Most zoos and institutions do not have them either. All I can say is "good luck."

Ive been told that someone at Hamm had Green and Golden Bell Frogs last year. I didn't see them myself so i cant confirm it.

I was going to take a didgital camera with me so ill keep an eye out for them and try to get some snaps.

Ill be getting my goliaths in April so ill get pictures of them posted then.
