my monitor is takin to handling a lot better than he used to but most times he'll just freak out wen he sees my hand entering the tank. he eventually calms down but then wen he comes a lil closer i think hes about climb up my hand since its time to be handled, all of a sudden he jus vomits. im being patient but it would be greatly appreciated if i could get any tips on better taming.thanks

vomiting is not a typical defense. Unless they have just eaten recently before handling.

I defense is typically a tail whip, hiss, bite, or defecating.
Small waters are shy and timid, as they grow they get over it.
