I asked the other day about my dragons tail is was black and everyone said it was dieing but the nexted day it was back to normal. i put my male and female day in my floor on ou started to head bob( like always) then i saw that his tail was black. So i put them back and his tail want back to normal why is this?/

Beardies will change their color with mood, temp, seems like at will. As long as it does go back to normal coloring I wouldn't worry about it.

Dark gray, dark, dark brown, black, etc. Is it black like the color of pure black paint or is it just a lot darker than the rest of the tail. FYI, my bearie's tail is frequently close to "black" and it has been fine. Now that's not totally black but more like a real dark gray.

Whatever the case I agree it sounds like your beardie is fine.
