1st clutch of the year!

jasons-jungle Mar 03, 2004 02:03 PM

It's nothing as exotic as most of the ones being posted, but it's our first clutch of the year, so we're still pretty darn excited. It's a result of a 100% het albino male to a 50% possible het albino female. She's a first-time breeder, 2210g 4 weeks ago. We expected 5 eggs tops but were treated with 7 healthy and viable eggs weighing between 78-92g. Post-lay weight 1480g. Mom was not the least bit happy about us taking her new presents but to the incubator they had to go

This project is one of many shared between myself, Jason @ Circle City Serpents, and Travis Eads.

Now we'll just be keeping our fingers crossed for some albinos!!!

Thanks for looking,
Jason @ Jason's Jungle

Every living creature is special. And to create life is even better. Hope you get at least one albino.
