leofreak - in response to your post below about protein...

dmlove Mar 03, 2004 02:19 PM

Definely for a baby you should feed as many insects as they will eat. Babies need the protein to grow. You also should at least offer a calcium rich salad daily, in minced pieces. (im assuming its a baby hatchling from the picture). Ive never heard of monster diet, but if you want to, you could add that to the salad, virtually babies can have as many insects as they want and protein as they want. Adults is when people begin feeding them salad only with insects as treats.

Thanx and by the way do you know a good way to get babies to eat salad?Because he will only eat the Can O' Crix right out of my hand so maybe if I wrap them up in romaine lettuce? Is there a way to get him to feed on them without handfeeding?
