are house geckos going to escape

i have a 10 gallon with a huge tree looking thing thats has a bunch of branches to climb and 1 plastic plants and a feeding dish cave rocks and a piece of bamboo

They are known as escape artists. So have a plan when you are going towards the cage, do it, and then close the top. Also, try to do this slowly and gracefully. They will chill out a little after you have had them for a while; especially when they have gained some weight.
