New Argus

Landgator Mar 03, 2004 06:42 PM

I havent been able to post because my computer has been down for a week, but last week I recieved a pure argus monitor from Goanna Ranch. I already had a argus-cross that I purchased from BRRR a couple of months ago, and I was very nervous about these two monitors getting along, because the pure argus is a hatchling and the cross is a juvenile. They are doing really good together, no problems for now, and the cross seems more active now. I will post pics next week if I finish my new enclosue(8'l x 4'w x 5'h)

I just got my first argus a week or so ago. I love him, I got him in my bedroom where I spend alot of time. Hes always up to something, a real interesting monitor. Do you notice a difference in thier attitudes. Mine is real hissey, but no tail whipping or biting attempts. So far all I do to interact with him is get my fingers as close to him as I can without him retreating, I can give him a scratch or two on the neck before he retreats. Hes a little more tolerent of me everyday, hes trainging me well, right. Would like to see your pics. Clint
