Rack system heating...

herperjames Mar 03, 2004 07:29 PM

I live in Canada, and you can't get heat tape here unless you ship it from the USA, which costs quite a lot. So the only things I can get here are human heat pads. Would it be possible to use them on a rack and connect them all together to a thermostat? Thanks

What about rope light? You should be able to find that at large home improvement stores in Canada. There have been some threads on this recently if you care to read back a page or two.

Hi James – I was just reading a thread on a Canadian ball python forum that said that heat tape was readily available in Canada; you just have to know where to find it. But the poster didn’t mention WHERE to find it. Sounds a little hush-hush. I don’t know. Anyway, you might check out that site, http://www.[bleep]/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=3, and post your question there.

Honest to goodness, they bleeped the website. Look for

but remove the spaces.

Thanks. It says [bleep] though...why is that? If you can not post a link without kingsnake.com blocking it, then email me at snakemanj7@hotmail.com.
Thanks
