my leo's upper jaw seems to be pointing out?

gothra Mar 03, 2004 07:55 PM

Sorry, I don't have a photo; but yesterday, when I look at my female sideways, I noticed that her upper jaw seems to point out further (slightly) than her lower jaw. I checked her previous photos and she's not like that a few months ago. I touched her jaw to see if it's soft or what, but it seems fine to me. It's winter here and I recently moved house (new tank for her), and she is not eating much since mid-December. She lost about 10 grams in the first month, but her weight is stable now (72 grams).

She sleeps alot, but she does come out of her hide everyday to climb around. Shall I be worried? Is there anything I shall check on her? I did put a big dish of calcium powder in her tank, but she doesn't even go near. What shall I do?

if her wait is fine, and she is eating fine, then dont try to fix it if its not broken. if she looses wait, refuses to eat, and isnt active at nite, then take her to a vet.
