Today I purchased a Colombian Rainbow, really wanted a BRB, but not in the budget at the moment... got a great trade (For a corn ;p). Of the CB litter I examined, there was one snake who stood out from the rest.
The litter consists of yearlings from early '03 and all of the siblings are considerably larger than he is... He is said to have been eating great and has never had any problems. He's been 'the runt' from birth. He's at least 6 inches smaller than the next smallest in the litter.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? My hopes are that he will stay on the shorter size of full grown. No one has purchased him because of ignorance and fear of 'inferiority'. He's very active, but a little nippy.
Anyway, I wanted to be the one to adopt him and give him a nice home. I in this for the animal's sake.
Thanks for replies!
