what to feed mealies

i bought mealies today and not sure what to feed them

is that the same thing as gut loading them?

Gutloading is a term that just means that the prey has been provided with a nutrional meal prior to feeding, rather than having an empty stomach.

For my mealies, I give them a bedding of half bran and half oatmeal with a sprinkle of baker's yeast. Then, I give them a piece of potato or carrot twice a week, no more.
