environment questions

animalkeeper Mar 03, 2004 09:50 PM

What are the dimensions of a typical 55 gallon aquarium.I am constructing an environment, half tropical and half desert. My anoles and hermit crabs will reside in the tropical and my leopard geckos in the dessert. Is this a good idea? what things should i add to my environment?

i wouldn't do it because of parasites and diseases. Also you would need to put a cage divder in between. And aquariums are usually bad for reptiles because they are usually like 3-4 times longer than they are wide.
