>>My Beardie has a lot of old shed on him. It is completely intact, but it’s darker than his older color. He started to shed about… 2 weeks ago? Maybe a bit less, and I saw all of his tail come off, as well as 2 of his feet. His head pealed off at the end and I thought he was done. The color is darker than his tail and feet, but up to a few days ago, the transition from new to old was seamless. Anyway, what can I do to get rid of it? I mist him at least 2 times a day. Any help would be great

I got an excellent suggestion from some of the "herpers" here on how to remove unshed skin. Put a coat of Vaseline on the problem area, and let it sit for a few days (I know, sounds dangerous, don't it?). After about two-three days, the skins peels itself off faster than a banana. This is mostly for extremities and back/belly, it should not be used for the head or neck area where a beardie can lick at it and get sick. My BD had a really bad place on his tail that wouldn't shed right, almost to the point where it was going to start cutting off circulation. An application of Vaseline and heat lamp for a few days solved the problem.
