well we went to the vet yesterday morning with julian. they decided to de worm him. he took a bit of this whitish fluid orally. i guess that's how they do it? he also got more shots of antibiotics that i have to administer every three days. they said his shell was slightly soft. but i've been adding cuttle bone to his food, and he's been under his UV light a lot lately. also, he's been eating a LOT lately. i thought he would have definately grown by our last vet visit. but his plastron is pretty much still an inch and three quarters. and he weighs 29 grams still. same as last time. if he has parasites, could that cause his shell to be soft. i guess that's why he hasn't been growing. how long will it be until the parasites are gone? thanks )

Parasites can definately cause this but I'm more inclined to think it is due to protozoa. Flagyl will take care of those.
