Can anyone tell me what would be an average number of neonates/birth? I'm aware that larger females generally give birth to more babies, but what would you consider to be an average number for a young BCI or BCC?
Thanks, Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Well according to the Rich Ihle video, the average number a virgin BCI will produce is 25. He clearly states that there should be 25 items (including live/still born/slugs). Due to my lack of experience I cannot defend this but I can say this, Mr. Ihle knows what he is talking about. =)

My female Bci gave birth in 2000 to 18 live, healthy young - no stillborns, premies or slugs. She's slightly smaller than average though - only 6 feet long even at 11 years old. From most of what I've read on the forums, most Bci give birth to something between 20-40 neonates with a few litters having more or less.
