This is my first attempt at breeding Cal kings and I had a few questions. I'll write out a checklist could anyone make comments or corrections on it?
I took the kings out a month of brumation a week ago and am keeping them at a temp of 80F
I started feeding them appropriate sized rat pups
I lowered the level of cypress mulch in the container
I began misting each cage with warm water
What now? How often should I introduce the male with the female? How long should they stay together? Should the female go through a preovulation shed like rat snakes?
