finger and toenails

When I got my water dragon, some of his finger and toe nails were missing. I was wondering whether these would ever grow back again? Thanks.

Probably not. That can be a sign of MBD, or they may just have been caught in something, but if the whole nail is gone it will not grow back. As long as he still has some, he should be fine climbing without them.
