New Terrarium

Just thought I would share this for opinions. Although I have added additional plants since this picture was taken, I thought I would post. The tank itself is a 92 gal corner unit. It currently houses 4 dendrobates auratus and 4 Phyllobates Aurotaenia.

We tend to see more bare-bones set ups on this forum. Frogs take too much work! Thanks for the pics.

I will second the "gorgeous" comment. I saved your pic as a future reference for the day when I branch out and keep some Herp's that can utilize something of this nature...I currently keep all my herps in racks systems but have increasingly felt that I am missing something by not being able to see them clearly and enjoy them acting natural in a nice viv set up with stuff like you designed. How big is this set up gallon or sq feet wise? How mych $ do you think you have in the setup? Any info or instruction on the behind the scenes stuff like your waterfall, mister, pump, lighting, etc?

Thanks,

Lee

Lee, that was the main reason I decided to set this up. Most of my snakes and lizards are set up in pretty sterile, boring enclosures. When I have a chance, tonight or tomorrow, I will take more pics of the whole setup. I think realistically, I have about $250 in the setup (I bought the aquarium about 5 years ago for around $400). It is a 92 gallon corner unit.

The mister is a fog vaporizor on a timer that is piped in via corrugated tubing. I will get some more pics to show how it is done.

Very nice! How do you keep the water circulating?, it doesn't look like you have enough water in the bottom of the tank to drive a submersible pump.

Thanks. The water is circulated by a powerhead that is sunk in a well in the back of the tank. The well is actually a camoflauged juice pitcher.
