What to feed very small snake

Hiriqnu Mar 04, 2004 02:11 PM

I have a very small cal desert king with a head that is very, very small. I don't think that it can handle a pinkie although I haven't tried yet. Yes, I am very familiar with how a snake can detach its jaw and all, but this just seems way too small. This snakes head is less than half of the size of the nail on your pinkie finger. Am I being stupid or is there something else I should be trying to feed this snake? I tried meal worms, but he wsn't interested. Please help, thanks in advance.

Search around for newborn pinkies. I never thought mine would be able to get one down when I first got it but it did.

You can cut up a frozen thawed pinkie into several pieces and feed.........chris
