Amazon Basin Peruvian

I had to post a photo of this guy again.. I think he's got some potential. I did another scale count and he could be in the low 90's dorsally. Don't get me wrong, he's a real pleasure for an import- still a little nervous and won't hold still to be counted! Chris at Gen-X Reptiles originally said that he was collected 30 miles east of Iquitos, but I hope I can get some paperwork for proof. It would be too bad if he didn't turn out to be BCC, he has so many nice qualities. But I don't do crosses, whatever the cost.

I don't see why you are questioning if he is a BCC. Just looking at him there is nothing that gives even a hint of a cross. Plus if he is a wc import there would be no way for him to be a cross.

But if your in doubt you can always send him to me I wouldn't mind having him. Very nice looking peruvian

Thanks for the comment. I've sworn myself off of BCI's. He does have all the main features of a BCC. My first scale count came up short, but the last two have been 91 and 94... so he's BCC. I have to be sure otherwise I can't use him with my other BCC.

He has a lot of the background variant that everybody calls "blue". I have to get a new camera that has more than 2.2 megapix. Thanks for the feedback.
