ok, first off...i thought you already got this figured out?
from what you posted it doesn't look like your asking for opinions....your rattling off reasons why it's ok for you to house a uro with a beardie....ok, we get it. when you put your beardie in with your uro they are fine, ok, then you can house them that way. others can too....all that was said was to keep an eye on health issues and moniter them very carefully. no one every asked why you thought that you should be able to. we just stated that we weren't gonna risk it with our uromastyx cuz we feel that it's already hard enough to get the uromastyx them selves happy (healthy) withlout having another things in with it. we as a community are still learning about the care requirements of uromastyx. (tell me if i'm wrong here guys)
as i poste last time advanced vivarium keeping is housing multiple species in a big enough vivarium with all the proper requiremnets and having all the animals thrive....so, if they are....leave em there!
i know for a fact that i'm not gonna risk putting my uro in with my beardie...first off i don't want me little uromastyx getting sqwished by my 20 inch 550 gram beardie!! cuz thats what could possibly happen, or i don't want my beardie to get to hot and get sick.
as of right now, i'm not gonna try it. maybe someday down the road i may, but if i do i might try it with something of similar size, eg. uro and a rankins dragon, somethings that are closer in size.
in your post though you weren't looking for opinions...you were just restating your point of view.
if this comes across as rude or anything....it's not. i'm just saying that it doesn't seem like you were looking for opinions and i'm just stating my opinion.

There is a lot of argument over whether keeping two different species of lizard in the same enclosure is not harmful to the animal. The most discussed pairing is uros and beardies. Many people say that just because an animal may "look" alright it amy be unhappy. A response to that would be you cant really tell if an animal is happy even when it is by itself. The following is a list of resons that it is okay to house uros and beardies together:
(these are all from PERSONAL experience)
1-Although from two different continents, both animals have very similar care requirements (not including diet).
2-Both animals thrive and gain weight whil living in the same enclosure then there is obviously nothing wrong with either animal.
3-When paired with other lizards of the same species they will breed (depending on the lizard).
4-Tail rot in the uros has not been a problem.
5-Both species are given proper diet. When I put crix in the cage my uro will only eat a few.
6-Both poop on a regular and correct basis.
7-A multi-level basking spot solves the problem of temperature requirements.
8-All animals are dewormed twice before introduced into the same enclosure.
I am not trying ot start an argument. I am simply stating why it is okay to house these two similar species in the same enclosure.
