pacman male or female?

throatoyster Mar 04, 2004 04:38 PM

I've got an albino pacman frog that I purchased last late May/ early June. I was told that if it is a male it should be croaking by now, or have some reddish coloration on it's throat. There is no coloration, and I have yet to hear it croak, however, it seems much smaller than most females that I have seen of this age. Are there any guesses on what sex it is, or is there a more definite way to tell?
Thanks,
Will

Males should croak, should be smaller in overall size than females, and should get darkened throats and raised nupital pads in the breeding season. How long is the frog SVL?
