I ahve a few questions...

First has anyone ever converted a small book case into a rack. I'm talking about those cheap ones you get from wal-mart. If so could someone post a pic or two.

Second has anyone ever used the ReptiTemp 500R in a small homemade incubator. If so did it work well for you. The measurements for mine are 2'High by 1.5'Deep by 1.5' Wide.

Thank you in advance for any response.

it doesn't have the temps on the thing so you dont know what you set it to. i would rather use a dimmer switch than that. just by a themostat like the one here lllreptile.com/v2/content/catalog/?section_string=cage-supplies&category_string=thermometers-and-thermostats&product_string=alife-reptile-electronic-thermostat-with-probe

those are a lot better than the 500r.

I am currently using a walmart cart for my hatchling rack system, I just need heat tape. I can post pics after my husband gets home. He works the camers better than I do. We just used an old microwave looking cart. Used the small shoeboxes with lids. Drilled holes in the ends of the shoeboxes and stacked them two down three across. I'm still working on how to affix the heat tape though so any suggestions on that would be helpful.
