I know that some lizards can excrete excess salt from there systems. Can a savannah monitor do this? My monitor had a white substance in his nostrils and the vet was not sure if they could do this. His cage is a 2-foot by 4-foot wooden cage that I built. He is on a substrate of calcium sand. The warm end is about 85 degrees and the other end is about 70 degrees. If anyone has any thing that it would be greatly appreciated.
