Question Heartmountain had

Priest Mar 04, 2004 10:15 PM

Dragonlord69 suggested putting vaseline (based on input from other herpers) on a beardie that has a lot of old skin on their back/legs/tail (not head or face incase they ate it). Heartmountain asked if using a waterbased lubricant like KY would work the same but with less risk?

Just a Q.

Thanks,
Joe

With it being water-based it might not hold up as well as vaseline at dragon temps, but the safety factor is definitely still a plus.. maybe it would just take longer and more applications?

There is no risk using Vaseline that I'm aware of. You don't glob it on, just a thin layer is all.
