best BRB breeders?

scales Mar 04, 2004 11:11 PM

Yeah yeah yeah, this has all the potential to produce biased answers, but I want a BRB, and I want a nice one. I'm not planning on one buying one until summer (due partly to family members/friends threatening to institutionalize me if i get another herp right now...lol. they just don't understand..) So, what is everyone's opinion on the matter? I'd like a bright one, and am kinda partial to red...

I do not know who could be the best breeder or what could make someone to be the best breeder, but I can tell you looking at the last post That Jeff has a lot of really nice and variety of BRB and has a lot of experience with them, with him you has a lot of options where to choose a really nice BRB

Scales,
. All the Rainbow Boa breeders I know are great people and they all produce beautiful snakes. You cannot go wrong ordering from the breeders who have websites or advertise here on kingsnake.com. IMO the best way to get one that has the color and pattern you want is to go to one of the big shows this summer.

Good to know... I live way up north, so shows are hard to get to. I may find myself in daytona though, if i can... I have to wait to get one anyways, until I evict my tegus from their aquarium... They've lived in a 75 gallon most their life, but now are getting large anough for a bigger home. I have plans for a huge tegu enclosure- it's gonna be wide, but tall as well, with slight inclines going up to higher levels to create more surface area... lots of plans for burrows, hides and basking areas to. They're gonna love it...

. It requires an extreme amount of paperwork to get a boid across international boundaries. If you are in Canada you will find it best to buy from a Canadian breeder. I think we have one around here on the forum somewhere? Let me think??? What is his name?
