Warming up.

Well, I guess its spring when
you start to see the migrating
Painted Lady Butterflies hitting your windshield
in the middle of a little traveled desert road.
Saw a Whiptail, my first reptile of the season,
not an HL, but a consolation prize. =) My HLs came
out for the first time yesterday. Look pretty good.
Today is only supposed to be warmer and more beautiful.
Right on! The winter was really starting to get to me.
Anyone else's HLs waking up? Also,
if anyone goes into the field, have you noticed all the
Desert Millipedes under logs and boards? They're huge!!

Here's to another happy herping season.

yours,
-Phil

Hey man,

I live in Apple Valley,
the temps are getting warmer here.
At any rate, In the past week I've seen 2 juvenile
tigris, and one monster adult. I've seen these in a field near my house, and their activity pattern seems to favor morning
rather than the crespuscular activity I normally see in the summer. If you're out this way,
I wouldn't mind showing you.
