my uro most of the time sleeps in his hide, digging down a little bit. but recenctly, sometimes he will sleep on the other side of the tank, STANDING UP! he uses his tail and his back feet and leans against the corner of the glass and sleeps like that.... sometimes he falls backwards and is all disfigured, lol. anyone else uro's do this?

Uro's sleep in the weirdest positions mine burries his head completely in the sand. Every night his sleep positions get even more weird. LOL !!!

Sleeping standing up is not healthy, you're going to want to discourage that. Is the hide too small/high ceiling/too hot?

he sleeps under his basking pile of rocks and he wiggles down into the sand and he tucks his tail and all his arms and legs in and curles up into a little ball like thing. he looks like a little person curled up sleeping...it's so cute you almost want to pet him.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................but then you remember that that tail packs a whopping!!! and you slowely back away. and just admire him from a distance.

he's so cool to watch though.

I do remember reading somewhere that a uro that's sleeping in the open probably has something wrong.

And on the subject of cute sleeping positions, Arthur can't seem to find one. She jams herself into the most awkward and painful looking positions possible. It took me months to stop dragging her out to make sure she wasn't dead or injured. Joe's much more normal.

Sometimes 'Pancake' buries his nose in the sand and sleeps like that. The funny part is when his front arms are pointed down to his side kinda like he's flying.

Ra gets under his pagoda rock, jams his head into the lowest part of it, and settles himself into a frog position (the position that frogs go into when they're floating near the water's surface) with his arms close to his body on both sides. I'd take a pic but it's really difficult to get a pic of him under there.

my mali uro doesnt sleep in any weird positions. he just goes into his hide and lays down along the wall of it. just lays on his belly and sleeps.

im not gona worry about him sleeping outside his hide because it was underneath a tree in the corner of his tank that he slept standing up. it only lasted two nights and now he sleeps under his hide on the hot side of the tank
