"Potty" training...

Okay, I've read, and seen a few of you mention where you fold paper towels and put them in your leos favorite "dumping" grounds. Well, my male, will go wherever the paper towel is not. LOL. He was going in the corner, so I folded up a towel and put it there, and he went to the left of it. So I moved the paper towel to the left, and now he's back in the corner. LOL. Is there a trick to this I'm missing?

You need to place the paper towel where you want him to go then place some of his fecal matter on the towel. Do not clean it right away. Let him use the area a few times before you clean it. Then put the towel back in the same spot. This does not always work. All geckos are a little different. What works for one my have to be modified for another.

My male poops wherever he pleases. I have a piece of cork bark over their warm hide and for a while before i changed the set-up would poop between the galss and bark. Did not matter what i did. Now in his new home, he pooped in 3 spots before he decided on one. Just goofy that way.

it turned out the paper towel was too small. I just made it huge and basically stuck it to the glass so there was no where for the little bugger to go other than the paper.

good luck :D
