Im a lil worried..

newkid Mar 05, 2004 05:44 PM

I posted lastnight but no replies. I just want to know if anyone has ever seen this. Leo is leaving little clear blobs with some white in them in a different area than where he normally goes to the bathroom. Ever seen or heard of this? I tried to sex Leo tonight and Leo might be a Lea. Im having a hard time telling for sure. Thought maybe it is a girl and those blobs have something to do with that. ALong with that the appetite is growing smaller. Didnt eat at all lastnight

Help please.. temps are good, humid hide misted once a day, fresh mealies and water daily, phos free calc dish 24/7

Hmm..well, I've never come across this. But I know that it would not be because of the sex. None of my leos have ever done that, but I'll do some research, and see what I can find for you, Ok? I'll go research now!!

...what I had with my female 4 years ago when I first got her. She ate well at first, but soon her stools turned to low amounts of brown poo and mainly urate and a clear to murky brown goop that when poked at kinda had the consistency of human snot, just more stringy. I took a stool to my vet and found she had worms. I had to feed her a mix of ensure and pedialyte - while administering a med. Worked like a charm.

Now, I am no vet, nor can I really say this is what you have. All I want to do is say it sounds similar, so I would really encourage a fecal be taken to your vet asap. Good luck.

You explained that to a tee. Thats exactly whats goin on. Poor guy, I bet your right.

35 dollars office visit 15 for fecal exam plus meds..

I knew it was a possibility just hoping everything was cool.
As long as he gets better

Thanks again.
