Purple glazed looking eyes

Hello all,
Curious I was holding my little musking machine today, and noticed his eyes are looking like they're turning a glazed purplish colour. Do you think he's getting ready to shed... I hope so!!! I would like a souvenir of my little muchkin before w I release him at my uncle's marsh. Here's a picture of him...

Also, by looking at the picture, do you think he could eat a pinky? The pics oviously enlarged, ... I'd say he's probably a lil less than a foot, and less than a cm thick...

He eats sooo far rosy reds, aswell with JUICY earthworms...mhmmmmmmmmmmm

He could probably take a small pinky. Whether he WOULD is another question. You'd most likely have to scent it heavily with earthworm. Some will go for it the first time you offer it scented, some take a lot more convincing.
