Pictures George and Sheba

UroJade Mar 05, 2004 07:48 PM

im not sure what the mark on her back is it looks like crusty skin thats just starting to peel up in one spot
im assuming its a scar, its wider left and right than the picture shows those parts arnt dark or crusty but the shape of it looks like maybe she got caught under something and had to struggle to get out. i asked the guy i bought her from and he didnt know what it was, you can see near her back end thats she's thin but i think she'll but it back on fast once she starts to eat a little better
i took her pictures about an hour or two after the lights turned off so she was slowed down and didnt take off when i put her down

She is very pretty, but as you said thin. I am sure a few months of TLC will fatten her up. Good luck with your breeding endeavors. George is adorable!

BTW, the black spot looks like an old burn to me.

Sheba sure is brilliantly colored for a female! Arthur (my female) is much muddier. Sheba's back is as bright as Joe's is (my male)! I'm sure George will find her irresistible.

This is Joe when I first got him.

She has really good color for a female--her color is close to my male's. My females are still juveniles, but their color is much more apricot and tan--maybe they'll continue to get brighter. Keep us posted on your breeding efforts--I want to try when my girls are grown.
