Feeding chams house flies

Hello everybody.Had a queston. Summer is coming and I was wondering if I can collect maggots from the garbage can I raise the flies and feed them to my cham? Thanks in advance, Matt

Matt, I wouldn't. You can buy larva and/or pupa specifically for rearing as feeders (Grubco, Skipio and Kammerflage) but in nature they feed on all sorts of crap - literally(!) so I would not recommend it. Just my opinion...
