I use reptile mats for my Coleonyx (basically like a tiny leopard gecko). They're very easy to clean, feces don't really adhere too much so I just scoop them off, then about once a month I take it out, disinfect with quatricide, rinse in plain water, let it dry. I like the mats because they look better than paper towels, and crickets can't get underneath. I don't like to use sand as a substrate, as this gecko's small size makes impaction more of an issue than with adult leos, so the mat provides a larger measure of safety and still keep a somewhat naturalistic appearance.

I thought you were all about the House Geckos?
