Decisions, decisions....questions, questions.....

OK I'm trying to work out what to do with Dino and his new girlfriends. I was planning on building that 4x2x2 and putting them all in together (after the ladies were quarantined) but now I'm getting down to the nitty gritty I'm just wondering some stuff.

If I can get CB, feeding, acclimated adults will I need to watch them to make sure they continue to feed and don't get too stressed to begin with? Should I house all 3 separate (Dino away from the two girls, and the 2 girls away from each other) to make sure of that or am I being paranoid?
Or will I be OK leaving the 2 girls together and putting them in with Dino after quarantine?

I asked this below but is there any way to accurately tell their ages? Or should I wait for five years (to make sure they're sexually mature) anyway to be on the safe side before housing them together, in case of accidental mating? I can always let them all out in the hall together every day. Or could I compromise and separate Dino from them during breeding season?

While I'm here - you know that waxy substance Uros get coming from their leg/vent pores, is it only males that do that? Coz Dino has, but after seeing some pics on Doug's site I'm not so sure he's a boy! Now that would throw a spanner in the works!

Finally, can smaller Uros be kept with larger ones since they're not likely to nip or eat each other like beardies (or am I missing something?!) Or is it too dangerous in terms of accidental breeding? I'm asking coz I might only be able to get babies and I want my boy to have friends ASAP. Suppose they could play together under supervision. Last one - any way to accurately sex babies or am I going to have to go with the luck of the draw and hope for females?!

Phew! V.v.v.v.sorry for the v.v.v.v.long post but this has been going round and round in my head and I couldn't figure it out! I'm so excited! I'm so excited! Ha ha! I'm so sad.....

Two feet high sounds a little high for an enclosure height. It makes it a pain to ensure that they get enough heat (lamp too far away). I would not house the two females together, they will fight most likely. I would house a pair and then one female by herself, heck you could probably just throw a divider down somewhere in the 4 by 2 tank. About size, generally speaking, a uro won't fight with one that is much smaller, they seem to not care. Just my humble opinion on limited info provided.

Good luck,
Mark
