Unfortunately I'm computer illiterate and don't know how to post all my pics in one post. But anyway - I keep my picta in 10 gallon tanks. This particular 1.1 pair have paper towels as substrate, 2 low hides made from cardboard containers, a moist hide/ egg laying container, a basking rock, a calcium dish, and a water bowl.

You mentioned you had a basking rock. Do you use a heat source? I am giving serious thought to getting some in the next few months so im trying to learn as much as possible. Thanks again. EP

Hi,
I use a basking bulb over one side of the tank so temps hover between 87-90 on warm side and 77-80 on cool side. I've noticed that after I turn the lights out at night they like to come out and sit on the rock and "hunt". If you have any other questions about them, feel free to email me. I am a big fan of these guys, they're very rewarding little geckos.
