just to let everyone know his nose bubbling and slevering at the mouth is disapearing, he has never bitten me but is still a bit skittish and likes a bit of freedom all the old shedded skin that was on him when i got him has now came off since ive been bathing him nearly daily for an hour a time, and hes nearly in perfect condition bar a small nick you can barely see it on his tail 2 thirds down in the photo, i suppose this is typical of a captive farmed animal but staying in scotland i think hes about as close am gonna get to a pro exotics animal, just out of curiosity, would he be classed as a sumatran water or a normal, as he was bought as a normal but as you can see has a much more dotted pattern, thats his vivarium down behind him, ill be taking more detailed pics of his viv soon

hi there,where did you get him from?I ask because i myself am in scotland and looking into waters,i also have a nile which provides me wiht hours of fun,and scarsJust deleted all my pics so no can show,nice to see a monitor owner from my neck of the woodsThanks and nice pic also

hi jason what part of scotland are you from, if you have msn i can give you more details but i got him from a place called southcoast exotics down in england as theres nobody in scotland that would get them in, best wishes keith

im from Edinburgh bud,and yeah i got msn although im hardly signed in,im on yahoo which i use sometimes so maybe that would be better?I also had to get my nile from England though i forget where now,hahahhahahahah.Later keith,shoot me an e-mail through the contacts part of the forum
