Really Dumb Question About Feeding

JethrozMom Jun 10, 2003 07:59 PM

I know everyone says dont overfeed your chams. But how many crix per day does each cham need to be happy and healthy? Five? ten? twenty five? I know babies eat mroe than adults, and the chams that im getting are adult Jacksons (friend is moving), and i dont want to underfeed them, but i dont want to overfeed and leave crix in the cages to chew on my chams! So, whats a good rule of thumb?

Any takers?
Thanks!
Jamie

You could always just remove the uneaten crix after a set amount of time.
That would give you the opportunity to observe how many crickets YOUR chams will eat in a given amount of time, over a week or so...then you could customize your own personal feeding routine.

Or you could "cup feed" as well. Then that way the crickets won't snack on your cham.

By the way...Jethro is a GREAT name for a cham!!! I LOVE it!
